This is meant to be a glimpse into a close knit family. You are welcome to share with us the sense of belonging that we have enjoyed through the years.
The Brothers family migrated from Nova Scotia to America. They, namely, George and Melissa Brothers, together with their children: Charles, Nathan, Lewis, Florence, and Christine left Canada because of the fishing opportunities. George Brothers and sons were fishermen by trade and Oak Bluffs, Massachusettes, seemed to be a good place to settle into because of its location in a seacoast area. They bought a fishing boat and homes in Oak Bluffs, Later they decided to give up their fishing boat and semi-retire.
